Acorn Meadows Park

Spring is here, and it’s time to experience the great outdoors in VEEMEE’s Acorn Meadows Park.

With wide open grassy spaces, rolling green hills, leafy hedges, oak trees and a beautiful lake, Acorn Meadows Park is the perfect place to relax, hang out with your friends and meet new people. You can exercise your dog, mess around on the lake with a friend in a pedal boat, or take a bicycle ride for two. Why not take a ride around the Park on the miniature steam train and tour the park in style.  Feeling hungry or thirsty after your exercise?  Buy a steaming cup of Joe from the coffee kiosk or a hot dog or ice cream cone.  For the dog lovers amongst you, spend your time with your favourite VEEMEE dogs in the Dog Park or take them for a run around the Park.  If you don’t have a dog yet don’t worry; you can choose from six new best friends in the Park store.

HGL

VEEMEE welcomes you to the opening of the recently re-discovered Home-Grown Laboratory. HGL was a top-secret facility tasked with creating super solders. Designed for combat in a post-atomic war battlefield, the resulting Creatures were superb fighters but terrible soldiers becoming aggressive and unruly, only wanting to fight each other, causing the program to be mothballed & the Laboratory sealed.

Now the HGL has been opened once again, allowing the Creatures to do what they love most; Fighting! Roam the Laboratory and gaze in wonder at the Technology of the Ancients – the Datavisualator, Inductofusionator, Magnetotelescope, Genetomutatosphere & Atomoscillotron. We’ve worked out what the Coffee Machine is for but if you have any ideas about the others please tell us – we’d love to know…

You are invited to the HGL Public Space where every player gets 5 free turns of the combat game, allowing you to try fighting with all 4 Creatures before you decide which to buy! Owners can purchase Creatures to continue to fight with at the nearby Shopatron2000 store. The HGL Creature Habitat apartment is also available, along with a variety of clothing items to cheer on your Creature. Choose from a range of Foam hands, stylish Letterman Jackets, Hoodies and head icons to show your support.

The HGL Combat game is set in the middle of the Laboratory. Match your Creature against another in frenetic 5-round, Two-Player battles and watch your name climb up the leaderboard. Time your attacks, protect your health and build your momentum to smash your opponents. Success in the HGL Combat game awards a trophy cabinet with 9 unlock-able achievements as well as a number of special winners reward items.

The HGL Creature Habitat is the perfect place to unwind and look after your Creature. London Pub Radio…Cheers!

The London Pub Radio (LPR) has hit the airwaves – free to all London Pub owners in PlayStation Home! Every month LPR will be bringing you new featured bands and artists. First up from LPR are four tracks from Barney, Ben, Graham and Dan: a four-piece London-based band known as ‘RedderStare’. They describe their sounds as “analogue, live, raw and a bit messy, largely because they are all of those things”. Find out more about the band here. Redderstare

Also now launched is the LPR website where aspiring musicians can submit their own music for a chance to have their tracks played to an audience of thousands in London Pubs around the virtual world. The LPR team will choose a selection of artists or bands to feature each month. Further details are available on the LPR website, however the most important rules to keep in mind are that submissions must be your own original music and you must not have a signed record contract or publishing deal.
